Hey friends, it's been a while.

Happy holidays, new years and all that! I hope you all did great and were with your loved ones during the holidays.

As the new year starts, I wanna give another update on how stuff has been.

Twitter Complications

Recently, I've been on and off about using Twitter/X. I said I was gonna quit it, then I came back.

But now, it feels a lot different. The climate there already felt very hostile and unwelcoming with how people behaved there, but recently it feels like it's being take to an extreme.

I probably will stick around on that website to check on some of my buds. But fact is, I won't post art there again.

The new policies about the block feature make me really uncomfortable about posting art there. It doesn't feel like it's worth it in the end.

State of my art

Something that depresses me is how little art I've been putting out these last three years. With 2024 having a pretty low amount of art made. While part of the reasons on why are because of real life and college getting in the way. It's also cuz I feel like I'm a bit too slow at drawing. And I'm currently trying to find methods to speed things up (just to be clear, I'm not talking about using AI or plagiarizing). I also want to motivate myself more. Just to clarify, I don't want to overwork myself or anything like that. I just want my time spent with art a bit more effectively. And that I draw enough so I can get most of my ideas out.

I'm also a bit disappointed in myself in not reaching some of my goals last year. I did want to spend more time with backgrounds and experiment with other stuff. But I didn't get the motivation (and definetely not the time) to do it, sadly. Hopefully I can organize my time better this year and accomplish all of it.

Note about Commissions

Last post I've said I struggled with getting ANY art out because of moving elsewhere, and because of a stomach desease I had. Thankfully, that's all been taken care of for now. And commission work is going smoothly.

If anyone is interested to be added to the queue, I'm currently open for them. Info is in my profile.

I barely say stuff like that. But I'm really grateful for my fanbase, as small as it is. And I'm proud of the long way I've come as an artist! I still need to do some stuff before I get things in order. But I hope that this year I can achieve all my goals and be more ambitious with what I create.
